Cars in German City Found Marked with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Officers reported they were notified by a resident who noticed a car in Hanau smeared with reddish liquid

Approximately 50 vehicles have been covered with what seems to be human blood in the German city of Hanau near Frankfurt, police confirm authorities.

Automobiles, walls and postal boxes were vandalized, sometimes with Nazi symbols, they announced in a official communication.

Officers report they were alerted late on Wednesday night, when a resident noticed that a vehicle in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been marked with a reddish fluid.

The fluid had been drawn in the shape of a swastika, they stated.

Police then found many other marked automobiles and house walls in the surrounding area.

These symbols are illegal in Germany under laws outlawing the public exhibition of symbols from the Nazi era.

Police state initial examinations show the fluid was probably blood from a person.

"At present there remains no clue as to its origin; authorities are currently not cognizant of any harm in association with the event," they commented.

Municipal representatives stated they were trying "to solve the case" and have asked to the community for information.

A senior official said the incident made him without words and needed to be solved promptly.

"This event strikes at the center of Hanau and reopens the pain of the right-wing attack half a decade ago," he wrote on a platform, recalling the murder of nine victims by a assailant focusing on residents of migrant background in February 2020.
